With a network of over 600 service centers worldwide, we provide unrivalled service and support for our range of pure water systems. Operating in China since 2004, till now we have established two offices in Beijing and Shanghai and quickly built on an effective and wide agent network, rapid business expansion has taken place since then.

Now, BMW, Roche, Rohm & Hass, China HLPP center, China CDC, CAS etc. famous names were on ELGA China client list.

VEOLIA WATER is the daughter company of VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT who is listed No. 160 in the globe Fortune 500 companies

ELGA’s reputation for innovation and quality has not been acquired overnight. We have nearly fifty years experience in the laboratory water purification market and a pedigree in product development that no other company can match. After our acquisition by Vivendi Water Systems (the world’s largest water treatment organisation) in 1999 we were able to extend our knowledge base and range of services still further. Vivendi Water Systems was renamed Veolia Water in 2003.

Below is a brief timeline for the company, outlining some of our major product developments and corporate events.

1937 - Elga Ltd founded by Walter Lorch

1955 - Elga Ltd introduced a range of deionisers as an alternative to stills

1970’s - Elga Ltd introduced Spectrum Range of Modular Lab Equipment

1985 - Elga Ltd introduces award winning UHQ bench-mounted laboratory water purification system

1998 - Elect range of laboratory units introduced using patented EDI technology

1999 - Vivendi (Previously ‘Générale des Eaux’) acquire ELGA

2000 - ELGA LabWater adopted as Vivendi Water Systems’ global laboratory water brand

2001 - Developed and launched PURELAB Ultra – ultrapure laboratory system with built-in security features

2003 – Vivendi Water Systems renamed Veolia Water

2004 - ELGA LabWater introduces the first packaged central laboratory system for loop systems
